Striking a Chord with the Community – Our Open Day Success!

Our recent Open Day was a huge success, a joyful celebration of music, community, and creativity! These events are all about giving local families the chance to step into our musical world: to explore instruments, meet our brilliant tutors and, most importantly, have a fun day out.
From the moment the doors opened, the room buzzed with excitement. Children were free to roam between instrument stations and try their hand at piano, drums, guitar, saxophone and more. It was a hands-on, playful introduction to music. No pressure, just pure exploration.
"It’s such a great idea to give the children a chance to try out different instruments," said one parent, smiling as their child lit up discovering the joy of drumming for the first time.
We also ran a series of short, interactive workshops where families could join in, make some noise together, and get a feel for how we teach. It wasn’t just the children getting involved either, plenty of parents had a go (and discovered they quite enjoy the ukulele!).
There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere all day, with plenty of opportunities for families to chat, connect, and enjoy some free snacks and refreshments while soaking in the music.
One of our tutors summed it up perfectly: "It was such a wholesome day with lots of creativity on show.”
Everyone that attended also received a fantastic discount of 50% off music lessons!
